Nexo Bolsters EEA Position with MiCAR-Compliant Partnerships
Nexo, a digital assets platform, has reaffirmed its commitment to MiCAR (Markets in Crypto-Assets) compliance ahead of full enforcement. The platform has partnered with two German firms, Tangany and DLT Finance, both licensed under the MiCAR framework, to handle core operational functions on its behalf.
Tangany will provide digital asset custody services for Nexo's EEA (European Economic Area) operations, while DLT Finance will handle digital asset brokerage. This strategic move is designed to align Nexo's operations with the MiCAR framework and strengthen its standing in the European Economic Area.
The partnerships reflect a broader industry shift towards infrastructure-sharing arrangements to navigate European regulation. As MiCAR enforcement deepens, firms that built their compliance infrastructure early will be in the strongest competitive position. Nexo is betting that getting the architecture right now is more valuable than moving fast and fixing it later.
