$4.8 Billion Boom: Trump Family Rides Crypto Wave to Unprecedented Wealth Growth
Donald Trump's net worth has increased by 183% in just two years of his presidency, from approximately £1.73 billion to £4.81 billion.
The main source of this wealth is not real estate, but cryptocurrencies, with the president reporting between $1.2 and $1.4 billion in income related to digital assets in 2025.
Two crypto initiatives account for most of these gains: World Liberty Financial (WLF), a decentralized finance platform, generated nearly $800 million; and memecoin $TRUMP, launched just two days before the inauguration on January 20, 2025, generated $635 million in royalties and licensing.
The White House rejected any accusation of wrongdoing, stating that all of the president's assets are in 'entirely discretionary accounts' managed by 'independent' financial institutions. Trump himself told CNBC this month: 'There is nothing illegal. There is nothing wrong with it.'
