Nexo has reinforced its compliance with the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation of the European Union. This development follows the establishment of an inclusive regulatory model by MiCA for notable crypto businesses working in Europe.

Nexo stated that it has accomplished the required compliance needs ahead of the official implementation of the regulation. The platform now provides services related to digital assets in the European Economic Area (EEA) via a locally organized model backed by licensed collaborators.

The platforms Nexo has collaborated with, DLT Finance and Tangany, currently possess MiCA licenses. DLT Finance regulates brokerage services regarding financial instruments and digital assets, while Tangany focuses on institutional-grade digital asset custody.

Nexo's Chief Product Officer, Yasen Yankov, stated that 'Now, at the end of a robust testing phase, all Nexo services are provided in the usual way with no disruptions.'
