Nik Bougalis has rejoined the XRP Ledger source code team.
The first step in his return was updating the core code with security and performance enhancements, as per pull request #8300.
David Schwartz welcomed Nik's return, while RippleX confirmed that he is indeed back on board.
Nik's return comes at a time when real-world asset integration on XRPL is gaining momentum.
