Nvidia and HIVE Deepen AI Infrastructure Ties Amidst $100M Revenue Push
BUZZHPC, a high-performance computing arm of HIVE Digital Technologies, has completed an integration of Nvidia's silicon and software on its platform. This milestone positions BUZZHPC closer to its parent's goal of surpassing $100 million in annual recurring revenue.
BUZZHPC has been running GPU clusters across Canada and the Nordics since 2017, long before sovereign AI became a buzzword in policy circles.
The platform runs on Nvidia's current top-tier hardware lineup: Hopper H100 and H200 GPUs alongside the newer Blackwell B200 and GB200 NVL72 systems. These are connected through Quantum InfiniBand networking, which is the high-speed fabric that keeps large GPU clusters from bottlenecking each other during intensive AI training runs.
BUZZHPC has a three-year contract with Bell Canada worth approximately $220 million, covering the deployment of 2,304 Nvidia Grace Blackwell GPUs. This deal provides a revenue floor for BUZZHPC and positions it as an Nvidia Cloud Partner.
