Nvidia has released the Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit, an upgraded version of its entry-level edge computing platform.

The new kit boasts a significant performance boost from 40 TOPS to 67 TOPS, all while keeping the price at $249.

This upgrade is notable because it's typically expected that such a substantial increase in performance would come with a new product generation and higher price tag.

Nvidia managed to squeeze this improvement out of the same hardware platform, meaning existing Orin Nano owners can unlock the boost through a JetPack software update without needing new silicon.
