NVIDIA Unveils Orin Nano 2: Compact Robotics Computer with Doubled AI Performance

NVIDIA has unveiled its latest robotics computer, the Jetson Orin Nano 2. This compact device is designed to accelerate edge AI development and promises a significant boost in performance.

The new Orin Nano 2 boasts 78 trillion operations per second (TOPS) of AI compute, an 8-core Arm CPU, and 8GB of memory. It also consumes 40% less power than its predecessor while doubling the inference performance.

NVIDIA's Deepu Talla highlighted the importance of this device, stating that it delivers 'the performance and energy efficiency needed for real-time reasoning at the edge.'
