NVIDIA Unveils RTX Spark PCs and Local AI Tools at IFA 2026

NVIDIA has unveiled its latest push into local AI computing at IFA 2026. The company is introducing new hardware and software tools aimed at empowering developers, gamers, and creators to run AI agents locally.

The RTX Spark PCs are the centerpiece of NVIDIA's announcement. These Windows PCs will be powered by Blackwell GPUs, delivering up to 1 petaflop of performance, paired with up to 128GB of unified memory and a 20-core Grace CPU. Lenovo and Acer were among the manufacturers showcasing designs for these devices.

The RTX Spark PCs promise an all-in-one solution for gaming, content creation, and running always-on AI agents. NVIDIA is also introducing optimizations that enhance local AI inference speeds, including support for popular open-source inference frameworks like llama.cpp and vLLM. These gains are available through applications like LM Studio and Ollama.

NVIDIA has also released a free tool called PAIR (Personal AI Router) that allows users to distribute AI workloads across multiple PCs within a local network. This enables users to tap into idle computing power across devices, boosting efficiency for tasks that require parallel processing.
