NYSE Partners with Blockchain.com on Tokenized Securities Venue
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Blockchain.com have announced a partnership to connect their platforms, allowing users of the crypto exchange to access tokenized U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds.
The collaboration aims to create a 24/7 digital securities venue that supports fractional orders, dollar-sized trades, stablecoin-based funding, and instant on-chain settlement.
Blockchain.com has over 44 million confirmed accounts, and its app will incorporate market-data feeds from ICE and NYSE. The company plans to distribute Blockchain.com's crypto market data and analytics to institutional subscribers.
The agreement is part of Intercontinental Exchange's (ICE) broader effort to develop tokenized trading, settlement, custody, and funding infrastructure. Securitize is supporting the development of transfer-agent and issuance infrastructure for the platform.
