NYSE Ponders Blockchain Integration with Avalanche

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is evaluating Avalanche technology for possible integration into its infrastructure. Ava Labs President Charlie Cooper stated that NYSE has been testing both Avalanche's technical capabilities and the economics of using the network.

The exchange is weighing the business needs of the venue alongside the blockchain's performance, according to Cooper. He emphasized that no final blockchain choice has been made, with Avalanche remaining in an exploratory position rather than a confirmed deployment partner.

NYSE's tokenized stocks and ETFs plan still requires regulatory approval, which could determine how quickly any blockchain testing translates into a live product. Regulatory sequencing matters as much as the technology stack in this process.
