NYSE Teams Up with Blockchain.com on Tokenized Stocks Initiative

Share

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Blockchain.com have partnered to bring tokenized stocks to users worldwide, pending regulatory approval. The partnership involves NYSE building a digital trading platform where tokenized stocks and ETFs will be listed and matched.

Blockchain.com will serve as the distribution channel, linking its international user base to NYSE's platform. This move aims to increase global access to U.S. equities and ETFs, allowing users to buy and trade blockchain-based versions of these assets 24/7.

The partnership also includes a data-sharing arrangement between ICE Data Services and Blockchain.com, where the latter will add certain NYSE and ICE market data feeds into its app, providing real-time information on traditional stocks.
