NYSE Teams with Securitize for Round-the-Clock Tokenization Platform

Share

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has partnered with Securitize to build a round-the-clock tokenization platform for securities. The platform, called the Digital Trading Platform, will support 24/7 trading and instant settlement, using stablecoin-based funding and on-chain settlement.

The NYSE's parent company, Intercontinental Exchange, announced the deal on Tuesday. Securitize will serve as the exchange's first digital transfer agent on the platform, creating and managing blockchain-native shares of stocks and exchange-traded funds.

NYSE Group president Lynn Martin emphasized that new infrastructure must preserve the trust and protections investors expect. Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo noted that this is about building tokenization in a way that works within real market structure, with the protections, controls, and operational integrity.
