OG.com Seeks CFTC Approval for Stock Perpetual Futures
OG.com, a prediction markets and derivatives platform valued at $5 billion, is seeking US regulatory approval to offer perpetual futures tied to individual stocks.
The company recently filed with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) proposing new rules that would allow it to list cash-settled single-stock futures without expiration dates, which can trade 24 hours a day, five days a week.
This move comes as trading platforms push to bring popular derivatives products like perpetual futures to US equity markets. On September 18th, Coinbase, Kraken parent Payward through its Bitnomial exchange, and prediction market Kalshi all filed to offer similar products tied to individual US stocks.
