OKB Stabilizes at $120.25 as X Layer Sees Deposit Pullback
OKB's price has settled at $120.25 after an unusually quiet week. The token is still trading below its all-time high of $228.74, which it reached in October 2025.
The more significant development lies within the X Layer ecosystem, where deposits have decreased by $18.6 million since September 28. However, this drop should be viewed as a pullback after a rapid increase rather than a collapse.
The concentration of deposits is heavy on one lending market, Aave V3, which accounts for 68.2 percent of all deposits on X Layer with $114.8 million. The utilisation rate of this market is approximately 64 percent, indicating active borrowing activity.
OKB's role in the ecosystem has evolved since August 2025 when it became the gas and native token of X Layer. Its supply is now fixed at 21 million units, with no possibility for further unlocks or burns. This change affects demand, making the number of active trading venues on X Layer a more relevant metric.
