OKX Consolidates USD and USDC Order Books by September 30
OKX is consolidating its USD and USDC spot order books into a single unified book, effective September 30, 2026. This change will bring deeper liquidity, tighter spreads, and better fills on the pairs that users already trade.
The consolidation will not affect users' funds or balances, which will continue to work as they do today. However, users with open orders or trading bots on USD pairs must take action to move them to the corresponding USDC pairs between September 23 and September 30, 2026.
To migrate their orders and bots, users need to cancel their existing USD orders and stop their USD trading bots, then re-create them on the corresponding USDC pairs. This only needs to be done once, as any orders or bots created on USDC pairs during this window will continue running after the migration with no further action required.
After the consolidation, users' trading experience will remain largely the same, with consolidated pairs quoted and displayed as Crypto-USD. The Crypto-USD ticker, charts, and order entry screens will be unchanged, and users can still fund orders with USD, which will be automatically converted to USDC to access the consolidated order book's liquidity.
