OKX Reports 4.07% Rise in User Bitcoin Holdings
OKX, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has published its 47th proof-of-reserves report. The report shows a 4.07% increase in user Bitcoin holdings from August to September, with 139,865 BTC held in customer accounts. This marks a significant rise from the 134,399 BTC reported on August 11.
The exchange's reserve ratio for Bitcoin dropped slightly to 109%, down from 111% in August. OKX calculates this figure by comparing assets under its control with corresponding account assets recorded for users. A ratio above 100% indicates that wallet holdings exceeded customer balances captured in the snapshot.
OKX user Ether holdings rose 3.49% to 1.786 million ETH between August and September. The exchange reported 153,151 BTC in controlled wallet assets against the 139,865 BTC held in user accounts, with a reserve ratio of 101%. USDT user account assets increased by 4.62%, reaching 8.49 billion tokens.
