OKX Secures New Funding at 25 Billion Valuation

Share

OKX, a leading crypto exchange operator, has successfully secured fresh funding at a valuation of $25 billion. The round attracted investments from existing partners and new contributors, including the hedge fund Qube Research & Technologies. Circle Internet Group Inc., Ripple, and Standard Chartered Plc’s investment arm SC Ventures all participated in the round, as detailed in a press release from OKX.

The company did not disclose the exact amount raised but confirmed it as an extension of a previous funding round in March. At that time, Intercontinental Exchange Inc., the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, invested approximately $200 million in OKX at the same valuation.

This latest funding round underscores the continued confidence in OKX’s growth potential within the cryptocurrency market. The participation of major financial institutions and tech firms highlights the increasing mainstream interest in digital asset platforms.
