OKX US Cuts USD Trading Bots as Deadline Looms
OKX US is retiring certain USD spot order books and delisting affected pairs on September 30. Open orders between 3-4 a.m. ET (7-8 a.m. UTC) will be canceled, with positions in Grid and Smart Portfolio bots sold. Traders using these strategies face potential trading fees, slippage, and realized gains or losses unless they recreate their strategies on USDC pairs.
The exchange is providing corresponding USDC pairs since September 23 to enable migration. Affected traders have until the deadline to cancel open USD-pair orders, stop those bots, and recreate them on the USDC pairs. Orders and bots created on the replacement pairs during the parallel window will keep running afterward.
