OKX US Sets September 30 Deadline for USD Pair Migrations
OKX US has announced that it will cancel open orders and trading bots on selected USD pairs if users fail to migrate them to their corresponding $USDC pairs by September 30. The exchange says it will sell positions in Grid and Smart Portfolio bots, while leaving positions managed by DCA, Recurring Buy, and TWAP/Iceberg bots intact.
The migration affects only certain USD trading pairs, excluding USDT-USD. According to OKX US, account balances, deposits, and withdrawals remain unaffected, and users will still be able to place orders with USD, which will automatically convert to $USDC.
Traders have until September 30 to cancel open USD-pair orders, stop affected bots, and recreate them on the $USDC pairs. Orders and bots created on the replacement pairs during this parallel window will continue running afterward.
OKX US warns that inaction may result in costly losses for traders using Grid and Smart Portfolio strategies.
