OKX Warns Users of High-Risk Crypto Transfers

Share

OKX CEO Star Xu has issued a warning to users about high-risk cryptocurrency transfers on the platform.

According to Xu, certain transfers can trigger anti-money-laundering reviews lasting 15 days or longer, during which account functions and access to funds may be restricted.

The review process may involve examining transaction histories, records explaining how customers obtained specific cryptocurrency, and source-of-funds questions for exchange compliance teams.

Xu identified Telegram guarantee groups and Huiwang-linked transfers as examples of higher-risk funding channels that may carry greater source-of-funds risks during compliance reviews.
