OKXICE Seeks SEC Approval for 24/7 Tokenized Stock Trading
OKXICE, a joint venture between crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch a 24/7 platform for trading tokenized US stocks.
The proposed Tokenized Securities Venue (TSV) would allow investors to trade blockchain-based versions of traditional exchange-listed stocks within a regulated market structure.
Initially, the platform would cover 63 stocks listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), including Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, and Tesla.
Companies would have 30 days to object before their shares could be offered on the platform.
ICE's financial-market capabilities would combine with OKX's digital-asset infrastructure to support the platform.
