OKX's X Layer Shatters DeFi Milestones After Aave, Uniswap Integration
The OKX-built Ethereum layer-2 network, X Layer, has reached new heights in DeFi activity, breaking past $100 million in total value locked (TVL) and surpassing $2 billion in stablecoin supply. These milestones come after integrating the Aave and Uniswap DeFi protocols, with the latter playing a significant role in Robinhood Chain's successful debut.
The integration of Aave and Uniswap on X Layer has led to a surge in DeFi activity, with TVL reaching $116.27 million, up 5.26% from the previous day. The stablecoin market cap also hit $2.07 billion, with OKX's USDG holding a dominant position at 94.11%. DEX volume saw a 25% gain, reaching $520.65 million over the last week.
Aave and Uniswap are leading DeFi activity on X Layer, accounting for most of the chain's DeFi footprint. Aave V3 has locked $85.34 million, while Uniswap holds $21.24 million, up nearly 59% in the past week.
