Kevin O'Leary, chairman of O'Leary Ventures, believes Bitcoin (BTC) can reach $1 million. However, he attaches one condition to this prediction: resolving doubts about quantum computing breaking the encryption behind the network.

O'Leary made this statement during an interview with The Rollup podcast at the Avalanche Summit in New York. When asked if Bitcoin would ever trade at seven figures, O'Leary replied that it will if it can resolve the doubt creeping in around quantum computing.

He explained that 'it will if it can resolve the doubt creeping in around quantum computing, you know, breaking the algorithms and the chain and the encryption.'

The current price of Bitcoin is near $81,177, according to BeInCrypto Markets. Reaching $1 million would mean a gain of about 1,132%, or more than 12 times the current price.
