On-Chain Trading Boosts Tokenized Stock Transfers 415% as Major Exchanges Join
Tokenized stock transfers have seen an explosive growth of over 415% in just 30 days, reaching $29.5 billion according to RWA.xyz data. This significant increase in activity is attributed to the growing adoption of on-chain trading and custody services by major players such as Coinbase, Robinhood, Bitwise, Bybit, and Arcus.
Ondo, Kraken's xStocks, and Binance's bStocks account for approximately 81% of distributed equity value. This marks a shift from simple token issuance to more complex financial services, including portfolio management and collateral use.
Active addresses have surpassed 1.3 million, while tokenized stockholders have reached 2.36 million during the same period. The surge in activity indicates a growing demand for digital securities, which could contribute to increased adoption of cryptocurrency and DeFi (Decentralized Finance) services.
