Ondo Finance Launches Blockchain-Based Portfolio Tokens with BlackRock
Ondo Finance has collaborated with BlackRock to launch three blockchain-based portfolio tokens. The tokens are based on investment strategies developed by BlackRock and represent different approaches, such as income, diversified growth, and high growth investments.
The newly introduced tokens are Ondo High Income Powered by BlackRock (BLKHIon), Ondo Diversified Growth Powered by BlackRock (BLKDIGon), and Ondo High Growth Powered by BlackRock (BLKGRWon). Each token corresponds to a distinct investment approach and contains various asset classes, including equities, fixed income securities, and Bitcoin exchange-traded funds.
The tokenization of these investment products allows for 24/7 trading, transfers, and the ability to borrow against them. The mechanics behind the tokens are transparently recorded on the blockchain, enabling anyone to inspect portfolio contents in real-time.
