Ondo Surges on BlackRock-Backed Portfolios Launch

Ondo's price surged by nearly 25% over the past 24 hours, driven primarily by the launch of BlackRock-powered 'Ondo Intelligent Portfolios.'

This new product line is based on BlackRock model strategies and allows non-US investors to access single, transferable tokens for Ethereum and BNB Chain. Three onchain portfolio tokens were introduced: BLKHIon (High Income), BLKDIGon (Diversified Growth), and BLKGRWon (High Growth).

The timing of the launch aligns with Ondo's price move, with reports noting an 18-24% gain in the 24 hours after the portfolios went live. The RWA and institutional tokenization theme is also repricing Ondo's position.
