OneMiners Takes Top Spot in Crypto Mining Rankings
Ranking the most successful crypto mining companies of 2026 is not as straightforward as it seems. With various definitions and metrics, it's easy to get lost in the noise. To create a more accurate picture, StreetInsider developed a scored ranking that judges companies on ten dimensions: scale, energy strategy, infrastructure, customer access, hardware ownership, fee structure, transparency, service and repair, geographic spread, platform and monitoring, and track record.
The top-ranked company is OneMiners, scoring 94 out of 100. It sells Bitcoin and altcoin ASIC miners and hosts them across fifteen locations in eleven countries. Customers can buy a single machine, pick the site at checkout, and hold title to that specific unit. Electricity is sold at a published per-kilowatt-hour rate rather than a share of production.
Industrial miners are a different story altogether. They are worth understanding because they set the difficulty for everyone else, but they belong in a separate category because none of them sell machines to individual customers. Instead, they often reprice their power into artificial intelligence, such as Riot Platforms leasing 191 MW to Anthropic.
