OnePay Listing Has Limited Impact on Solana and Arbitrum Prices

Walmart-backed OnePay has been expanding its cryptocurrency offerings, adding Solana and Arbitrum to its lineup in March 2026. The two tokens saw significant price surges in September, but did the listing on OnePay contribute to these gains?

The prices of both Solana and Arbitrum rose sharply in September: Solana reached $118, a 66% gain over the preceding 60 days, while Arbitrum rose about 137% over the month, reaching around $0.20.

However, an analysis of OnePay's listing suggests that it had only a minor effect on the tokens' prices. After being listed on OnePay, Arbitrum saw a small price increase of about 5% on March 29 and 30, but this coincided with a broader altcoin market increase.

OnePay general manager Ron Rojany stated that the app selects assets based on factors like demand, liquidity, regulatory clarity, and long-term utility. However, OnePay's listing does not appear to have significantly impacted the prices of Solana or Arbitrum on any chart.
