OP Enterprise Bolsters Soneium with Managed Blockchain Services
OP Enterprise has added its support for Soneium, an entertainment-focused blockchain built for tokenized intellectual property. This partnership allows OP Enterprise to handle the day-to-day operations of Soneium's blockchain, freeing up time for developers to focus on building products.
The support includes deployment, sequencer operations, node infrastructure, monitoring, upgrades, and incident response. The Optimism Foundation and OP Labs will take care of these tasks, while Soneium's engineering team remains involved in the chain and continues to control its roadmap.
With this partnership, Soneium's developers can focus on building tools for Tokenized IP, on-chain royalty distribution, and AI-based applications for intellectual property. The agreement does not create a new blockchain, but rather adds operational support around the existing network.
