OpenEden Brings Tokenized HYBOND Credit Fund to BNB Chain
OpenEden has expanded its tokenized HYBOND credit fund to BNB Chain, marking the product's first move beyond Ethereum. This launch gives investors a new way to access tokenized high-yield bonds on-chain, backed by a real fixed-income strategy managed by BNY Investments and priced through verified oracle data from RedStone.
BNY Investments is responsible for managing the assets that sit behind HYBOND tokens, meaning the fund's performance is tied directly to a traditional, professionally run bond strategy. This structure is part of why OpenEden frames tokenization as a bridge rather than a replacement for conventional asset management.
RedStone provides pricing and settlement infrastructure, making HYBOND's value legible to smart contracts. Its oracle infrastructure allows a fund priced through conventional back-office processes to function inside a DeFi environment.
The expansion of HYBOND to BNB Chain is notable because it tests whether the infrastructure built for simple tokenized products can scale to something riskier and less liquid. RedStone has already deployed pricing for two other tokenized credit funds this year, HINC from Neuberger Berman and HYB from NYLIM.
RedStone's co-founder Marcin Kazmierczak said that tokenized credit is moving beyond cash-equivalent assets to bring higher-yield credit onchain. With verified pricing today and T+0 settlement through RedStone Settle, institutional credit can move from simply being represented onchain to becoming usable within DeFi.
