OpenPayd Eyes Nasdaq Listing via Titan Acquisition Merger
UK-based OpenPayd is pushing to list on the Nasdaq exchange this year through a merger with Titan Acquisition, aiming for a valuation of about $1.1 billion.
The company plans to use proceeds from the listing to accelerate its US expansion and launch a US service by April 2027, leveraging money transmitter licenses (MTLs) secured in 43 US states.
OpenPayd's CEO, Iana Dimitrova, said the merger with Titan Acquisition is in its final stages, pending review from the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Once completed, OpenPayd will trade under the ticker OP.
The company sees this move as crucial for growing its presence in the global payments infrastructure market, where it already supports money movement between fiat currencies and stablecoins used by exchanges like OKX and Kraken, as well as market makers.
