OpenWorld, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPNW) has confirmed that its planned dual listing on Figure’s On-chain Public Equity Network (Figure OPEN) is on track for the fourth quarter of 2026. The move follows stockholder approval on October 16, 2026, of the company’s Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation, which authorizes a new class of Blockchain Common Stock. This approval is a key step in bringing OpenWorld’s equity onto Figure OPEN.
The Figure OPEN listing will not involve issuing new shares but will provide a blockchain-native version of OpenWorld’s existing Nasdaq-listed shares. Investors will have the choice to hold and trade OPNW shares on Nasdaq or on Figure OPEN, with the latter offering real-time settlement and 24/7 trading. The total number of outstanding shares will remain unchanged.
Matthew Shaw, CEO and Chairman of OpenWorld, stated, “Bringing OPNW on-chain has been part of our vision since day one, and we remain on track to execute this vision with Figure OPEN later this quarter.” The company emphasized that the Figure OPEN listing is designed to complement, not replace, its Nasdaq listing, ensuring compliance with SEC reporting requirements and corporate governance standards.
To simplify the dual structure, OpenWorld has appointed Vinyl Equity, Inc. as the transfer agent to maintain records for both traditional and blockchain-based shares. The company expects to provide information on how stockholders can access the blockchain-based shares soon. The Restated Articles, approved by stockholders holding approximately 57.57% of the Company’s issued and outstanding common stock, will become effective upon filing with the Nevada Secretary of State following the mailing of OpenWorld’s definitive Information Statement on Schedule 14C to its stockholders, expected to begin on October 26, 2026.
