OpenZeppelin Brings Audited Contract Libraries to TRON

OpenZeppelin's audited smart contract libraries and developer tools are now available on TRON, expanding the network's capabilities in DeFi and stablecoin activity.

The integration brings OpenZeppelin's pre-audited components to new code shipped on the TRON network, covering tokens, access control, governance, and upgradeable apps. The toolkit also includes Contracts Wizard, built-in security checks, and AI-assisted development support.

For holders, existing contracts are not being rewritten as part of this announcement. However, the integration adds a default toolkit for new deployments, making it easier for developers to build applications on TRON.

Sam Elfarra, Community Spokesperson of the TRON DAO, stated that security is fundamental to expanding what developers can build across the ecosystem. He added that OpenZeppelin's track record 'lowers friction for builders while giving teams stronger foundations for creating applications that can operate at scale.'
