Optimism Ecosystem Tops $17 Billion in Value Secured Across OP Stack Networks

The Optimism Ecosystem has secured approximately $17 billion as of August 31, 2026. This figure extends the scale of Optimism's Ethereum Layer 2 infrastructure beyond the value held on OP Mainnet alone.

The total value secured measures assets protected by bridges and other assets held on rollups across more than 50 production chains using the OP Stack. These include Unichain, Ink, World Chain, and Soneium. The broader group of networks built with this framework is known as the Superchain.

The ecosystem processed about 6.8 billion transactions between January and August 2026. This figure exceeded $16 billion through June before reaching the approximately $17 billion mark recorded at the end of August.
