Optimism to Discuss Public Blockchains at Real-World Asset Summit

Optimism, a Layer 2 solution designed to enhance the speed and scalability of the Ethereum network, will participate in the Real-World Asset Summit in Brooklyn on September 1st. OP Labs Vice President of Sales Carlos Arena will join a panel discussing the advantages and disadvantages of public blockchains for finance.

The Optimism system utilizes optimistic rollups technology, which operates on top of the Ethereum mainnet to increase its throughput capacity. These rollups enable the bundling of multiple transactions into a single block, confirmed on the Ethereum mainnet, greatly accelerating transaction processing and reducing costs.
