Oracle Unveils Platform for Banks to Manage Blockchain-Based Assets
Oracle has unveiled its Digital Assets Data Nexus platform, designed to help banks manage and integrate blockchain-based financial products into their operations. The platform, set for general availability in 2026, is built on Oracle Blockchain and the AI Database 26ai technologies.
The Digital Assets Data Nexus supports a multi-ledger infrastructure, allowing banks to use various blockchains such as Hyperledger Fabric and Hyperledger Besu. It also includes pre-built tokenization smart contracts and a low-code environment called Blockchain App Builder, which accelerates development and reduces the time between concept and prototype.
The platform addresses three challenges that have blocked institutional blockchain adoption: scalability, resiliency, and regulatory compliance. Oracle is targeting regulated financial institutions specifically, with use cases including stablecoins, central bank digital currencies, bonds, and real-world asset tokenization.
