Orbinum Network Unveils Private Blockchain with Shielded Transactions
Orbinum Network is a blockchain project that aims to provide privacy by default for its users. Unlike most blockchains, which expose all transaction data, Orbinum's ecosystem allows users to shield their transactions and keep them private. The network uses a shielded pool, where users can turn public tokens into private notes, move value privately without revealing sender, recipient, or amount, and unshield private notes back into public tokens.
Orbinum's native token, ORB, pays for shielded transfers and for the relayers that submit them. The network is built on Substrate with EVM compatibility, allowing it to interact seamlessly with other blockchains. Orbinum has already completed three quarters of its plan, including research and development, public launch, and a public testnet.
The project's roadmap indicates that it will enter the final quarter in progress, covering the public sale, audits, TGE (Token Generation Event), and mainnet launch. After mainnet, Orbinum plans to focus on private DeFi, institutional adoption, cross-chain privacy through bridges, progressive decentralization of governance, and open source contributions with grants.
Orbinum's tokenomics are designed for network security, community participation, and long-term sustainability. The network has a fixed supply of 1 billion ORB, with 30% allocated to staking rewards, 15% to the development team, 11.5% to the public sale, and the rest distributed among various categories.
The project's staking model is based on Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS), where validators produce blocks, and ORB holders nominate validators they trust. Both share rewards, with 30% of supply funding the pool. Payouts depend on era points and stake behind each validator. Misbehavior can be slashed, and nominators share that risk.
