OSIRIS AI LIVE: Open-Source OSINT Dashboard Brings Public Data to a Single 3D Globe
OSIRIS AI LIVE is an open-source OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) dashboard that collects and organizes public data on a single 3D globe, updated in real-time. The site osirisai.live runs in the browser and requires no installation or account. It's built with Next.js 16 and MapLibre GL, a library that draws maps with the graphics card, allowing the map to stay smooth even with thousands of moving objects.
The project collects information from public sources, including flights, satellites, cameras, earthquakes, fires, conflict zones, markets, and news. The data is sourced from various APIs, such as OpenSky, USGS, NASA FIRMS, GDELT, and incident reporting sources. The OSIRIS code is on GitHub under an MIT license and has over 10,000 stars.
The dashboard features a 3D map with several layers that can be switched on, including aircraft, satellites, cameras, earthquakes, fires, weather, conflict zones, and news. The left column turns individual layers on and off, and the bar at the bottom displays the most recent earthquakes and markets.
The site also includes several side panels, including Space, Markets, Alerts, and Recon. The Space panel features a 4K live feed from a camera mounted on the International Space Station, while the Markets panel displays world indices, crypto, and a personal watchlist. The Alerts panel shows a stream of geolocated news, and the Recon panel lists 21 OSINT tools, including network and hosts, domain and web, identity, threats and exposure, and blockchain.
