Ostium has taken steps to recover from its July 15 attack, which saw around $23.75 million removed from the Ostium Liquidity Pool (OLP). The protocol has opened a recovery portal for affected users and so far, 90.59% of impacted wallets are eligible for full reimbursement of verified losses in the first phase.

According to Ostium, 3,321 out of 3,666 wallets qualify for this initial phase of reimbursement. Users with losses of $1,000 or less can claim the equivalent amount directly in USD Coin (USDC), while those with larger losses have two options: either accept $1,000 and waive their remaining recovery allocation, or enter a second phase that will distribute funds proportionally.

The protocol has already recovered about 649,967 USDC from the attacker's assets. The remaining vault assets are valued at roughly 30% of the OLP's holdings before the incident. Ostium plans to disclose revenue-sharing arrangements by October 30, which will draw primarily on additional funds recovered and a share of the protocol's revenue.
