Over $4 Million in Crypto Stolen from Specter in Three Separate Heists

Share

Specter, a cryptocurrency platform, reported three separate incidents of significant crypto theft last week. The total value of stolen funds exceeded $4 million.

The first incident occurred when an unknown attacker stole approximately 2,500 Specter tokens (SPT) worth around $1.5 million from the platform's wallet. The second and third incidents involved the theft of smaller amounts: $750,000 and $600,000 respectively.

The stolen funds were transferred to various cryptocurrency exchanges, making it challenging for authorities to track down the perpetrators.
