PayPal Surges on Strong Q2 Earnings Amid Crypto Push
PayPal's second-quarter results show the company processed $486.4 billion in payments, up 10% from last year.
The payment volume increase helped revenue rise 5% to $8.68 billion, while net income fell 12% to $1.10 billion.
PayPal's CEO Enrique Lores said stablecoin and agentic payment capabilities can support future growth as the company develops more merchant products.
The company placed PayPal USD inside its new Payment Services & Crypto division, combining it with Braintree, merchant processing, and other services.
