Payward and Ledger Bridge Self-Custody with Trading Access

Share

Payward and Ledger have joined forces to bridge the gap between self-custody and trading access. Through their partnership, Ledger's self-custody products will be connected with Payward's trading and payments infrastructure. The deal covers Kraken, Ledger Wallet, and Payward's institutional services.

The integration allows Kraken customers to use a Ledger signer within the Kraken experience to fund and withdraw assets and sign transactions. This is made possible using Ledger's Device Management Kit and Clear Signing support.

Payward Services will also be embedded as an integrated buy, sell, and swap provider inside Ledger Wallet, starting with debit card and bank transfer support across Europe and the UK. This enables Ledger users to buy, sell, and move crypto through Payward while maintaining control of their private keys.
