SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce will leave her post on October 2, marking the end of nearly nine years at the agency.
She has been closely associated with cryptocurrency policy during her tenure and is known in the industry as 'Crypto Mom.'
In November, Peirce will join Regent University School of Law as an associate professor.
