Perplexity Integrates OpenSea Data for Real-Time Crypto Insights

Perplexity Computer and OpenSea have collaborated to integrate real-time crypto market data into AI-powered answers. The partnership allows Perplexity's AI agent to draw on OpenSea's marketplace data, providing users with up-to-date information about tokens, collectibles, and NFTs.

The integration enables the AI agent to surface key market signals, including the most-traded tokens and assets generating the most market activity across more than 25 chains. This grounding in real-time data allows users to ask questions about trading, gaining momentum, or attracting collectors and receive cited answers based on actual market activity.

According to Devin Finzer, OpenSea CEO, 'onchain markets are built for AI agents' due to their openness, live nature, and verifiability. This integration with Perplexity Computer means users can access real-time information without relying on stale data or guesswork.
