Peter Brandt Sees Long-Term Patterns in XRP Price History
Veteran trader Peter Brandt has expressed interest in XRP due to its long-term price pattern, even as he questions unconditional loyalty to the token. In a September 26 post on X, Brandt described his chart-based interest in owning XRP: 'It is not necessary to be a certified cult member to be an interested owner of a crypto $XRP.'
Brandt's comments describe how he assesses XRP while questioning the conviction of some of its supporters. He has used classical price charts throughout his trading career, which track recurring formations in historical prices. Brandt entered commodity markets in 1976 and founded the firm Factor Trading in 1980.
The September 26 chart spans more than a decade of XRP trading and highlights two long periods when the trading range narrowed before sharp advances. Brandt also marks a smaller pattern after the recent decline. XRP stood near $1.52, below its $1.66 weekly high but up about 7.9% for the week.
