Petrobras Tests Cardano for Cleaner Fuel Tracking
Brazil's state-controlled oil company Petrobras is testing Cardano in two research projects focused on cleaner fuel.
The first project explores sustainable aviation fuel, while the second looks at Diesel R, a partly renewable diesel made from materials such as vegetable oils or animal fats.
The use of blockchain here is not just about tracking transactions, but also about verifying environmental claims. Petrobras wants to record who claims an environmental benefit, when they claim it and where it came from.
