Phantom Ditches Sui Support: What Happens Next for Crypto Holders

Crypto news centers on Phantom and Sui after both sides agreed to end wallet support on September 24, 2026.

The integration between the two platforms, which became available on January 29, 2025, will be closed, but Sui assets will remain accessible through other compatible wallets using the same credentials.

Phantom has tweeted that it will remove Sui balances from its interface and take the network off its supported network list after September 24. The wallet will also stop supporting Sui transactions, swaps, and connections to decentralized applications.

Users are given two options: they can either convert their assets within Phantom or move them to another compatible wallet. Phantom has waived fees for native SUI-to-wrapped SUI swaps until the transition date, but standard fees apply when users choose alternative routes.
