Phemex has placed 82 unique USDT spot pairs under Special Treatment due to liquidity and project compliance concerns. The affected assets include ETC, XTZ, SNX, YFI, NEXO, AXS, USDe, and TUSD among others.

The restrictions took effect on August 31st at 10:00 UTC, requiring users to pass a mandatory Risk Cognizance Test before trading the affected pairs. Phemex announced the move through separate notices for 43 pairs and 40 entries, containing a total of 83 entries with MAGIC/USDT appearing twice.

The exchange stated that each pair triggered one or more of three reason categories: persistently low volume and insufficient liquidity, project team's failure to provide updates, or missed critical whitepaper milestones. However, the notices do not specify which reason applies to each pair.

Phemex will continue reviewing the projects and may remove the tag if conditions improve or delist a token later if they deteriorate. Holders are advised to monitor Phemex announcements and evaluate the risks during the observation period.
