Philippines and Malaysia Team Up with Zetrix for Cross-Border Digital ID Verification

The Philippines and Malaysia have partnered to enable cross-border digital ID verification, making services faster and more secure.

Zetrix, a layer-1 public blockchain platform, will serve as the underlying protocol for the Philippines' public blockchain infrastructure.

The partnership marks another key milestone in the expansion of Zetrix's ecosystem across ASEAN. The company has been operating as a core chain of Malaysia's Blockchain Infrastructure since its launch in April 2025 and is now being selected to be the primary blockchain infrastructure for the deployment of digitized credentials issued by the Philippines government.
