Philippines' eGov PH App Revolutionizes Government Services with Built-in AI
The Philippine government has made significant strides in modernizing its services by introducing the eGov PH Super App, which allows citizens to access hundreds of government services and utilize built-in AI tools directly from their smartphones.
According to DICT Undersecretary David Almirol, the app aims to simplify the process of interacting with government agencies, eliminating the need for repeated paperwork and long queues under humid tents.
The eGov PH ecosystem acts as a single, verified gateway, allowing citizens to access services such as clearances, track government benefits, and access social assistance without having to re-enter personal data across separate platforms.
The platform's public adoption has scaled rapidly, with over 61 million total downloads and an average of 80,000-100,000 daily downloads. The adult population coverage is approximately 75%, and the usage growth from 2025-2026 is expected to surge by 700%.
